Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers about pricing, packing, insurance and how moving day actually works.

How much do packers and movers cost in Bangalore?

It depends on home size, distance and access. As a rough guide, local shifting within Bangalore starts around ₹4,000–5,000 for a 1BHK and goes up with volume and floor access; intercity moves are priced by distance and load. We give an exact fixed quote in writing after a free survey — that written number is what you pay, with no additions on moving day.

How far in advance should I book my move?

3–5 days is enough for a local Bangalore move; 5–7 days is comfortable for intercity. Month-ends and weekends fill up first because most rental agreements end then — if your dates are fixed to a month-end, book a week or more ahead.

What is included in the quote?

Packing materials, packing labour, loading, transport, unloading, and placing items in the rooms you point to. Furniture dismantling and reassembly is included for standard items like beds and dining tables. Anything chargeable beyond that — storage, crating for glass or marble, shuttle vehicles for tight access — is written into the quote after the survey, never added on the day.

How do you pack fragile items?

Glassware and crockery are individually wrapped and packed vertically in partitioned cartons. TVs and monitors travel in padded or original boxes. Mirrors, glass tabletops and marble get wooden crating on long routes. Every fragile carton is labeled and loaded separately from heavy furniture.

Is my shipment insured?

Transit insurance is available for every move and we recommend it for long-distance routes and high-value homes. Share your declared item values during the survey and the coverage and premium appear as a line item in the written quote.

Can I track my goods during an intercity move?

Yes. You get the driver and supervisor contacts at dispatch, and on long-haul routes we send checkpoint updates so you know where the truck is each day.

Do you provide storage if my new home isn't ready?

Yes — short and medium-term storage is available alongside any move. Your goods stay packed to the same standard, with an inventory list, and we deliver when you're ready. See our Packing & Storage service for details.

Can you transport my car or bike along with household goods?

Yes. Two-wheelers are crated and cars go on carriers; on many routes the vehicle travels with your household consignment, which costs less than booking the two separately.

What items will you not move?

Flammables and explosives (gas cylinders must be empty), currency, jewellery and important documents (carry those personally), pets and plants on long routes (they don't travel safely in a closed truck), and anything illegal to transport. Everything else in a normal household is fine.

How do payments work?

A small advance confirms the booking; the balance is due on delivery after you've checked your items. We accept UPI, bank transfer and cash, and provide a proper bill — useful if your employer reimburses relocation.

What happens if something is damaged in the move?

Report it at delivery while the crew is present — note it on the delivery sheet and photograph it. Insured items go through the transit-insurance claim we help file; for uninsured damage caused by mishandling, we settle repair or replacement directly. Either way you have our number, not a call centre.

Do you work on weekends and holidays?

Yes — we operate every day of the year, and weekends are our busiest slots. Sunday and holiday moves cost the same as weekday moves; just book a few days earlier to get your preferred slot.
